Orin Swift Wine Dinner Thursday, April 25th 6:30 Reception 7:00 Dinner Back by popular demand, Orin Swift Dinner! $119 per person Plus Tax and Gratuity Please call 303 690 1025 for reservations as this one will fill up quickly! The history of Orin Swift Cellars dates back to 1995 when on a lark, David Swift Phinney took a friend up on an offer and went to Florence, Italy to spend a semester “studying”. During that time, he was introduced to wine, how it was made, and got hooked. A few more years of university led to graduation and eventually a job at Robert Mondavi Winery in 1997 as a temporary harvest worker. Deciding that if he was going to work this hard, it would eventually have to be for himself, he founded Orin Swift Cellars in 1998; Orin is his father’s middle name and Swift is his mother’s maiden name. With two tons of zinfandel and not much else, he spent the next decade making wine for others as well as himself and grew the brand to what it is today

Silverado
Silverado's winemaking is rooted in the vineyards. We are dedicated to expressing the quality and character of grapes grown on each of our six vineyards in the Napa Valley. Since our founding in 1981, the winery has grown to nearly 400 acres, which we farm organically and sustainably. Silverado produces Estate and Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and Chardonnay. While we are proud of the accolades our estate wines have garnered, our reputation with wine lovers and collectors rests on the shoulders of our Limited Cabernet, made only in the best vintages, and our SOLO Cabernet, our highest expression of our Stags Leap District home.

One cannot speak about popular music without speaking about Motown, the historic record label founded in 1959 by musical genius, Berry Gordy Jr. As the label got its start in Detroit, Michigan, Gordy Jr. named the label Motown after Detroit's nickname, Motor Town. Motown artists consisted of individual singers as well as groups. Many of them toured together in the 1960s at the height of Hitsville's reign, forming a Motown family who brought the world soulful sounds that were unique to each member. Here are a few of Motown's biggest acts: The Supremes This soulful and sexy trio (later renamed Diana Ross and The Supremes) featured Diana Ross, Florence Ballard, and Mary Wilson. They sang about love in a plethora of ways giving the world songs like "Baby Love," "Stop in the Name of Love," and "You Can't Hurry Love." Smokey Robinson and The Miracles William "Smokey" Robinson Jr. not only wrote songs for other Motown artists, but he also sang lead in a group with Bobby Rogers, Billy Griffin, and Claudette Rogers (who eventually became his wife). The group dazzled audiences with songs like "Tears of a Clown," "Shop Around," and "Tracks of my Tears." Stevie Wonder Born Stevland Hardaway Judkins (his mom later changed his last name to Morris), Stevie Wonder was hailed a musical genius and multitalented musician. Even though he became blind shortly after birth, he was able to play multiple instruments and bless the world with songs like "Fingertips," "Superstition," and "You can Feel it All Over."
